Description
The Imperial Knight Questoris Chassis is a towering war machine, designed to plunge into the fiercest fighting and change the outcome of entire battles. This incredibly versatile multipart plastic kit builds one mighty Imperial Knight in one of six loyalist configurations, or the terrifying Knight Despoiler for Chaos forces, making it an indispensable purchase for numerous Warhammer 40,000 armies. Just one of these giant engines of war is more than a match for vast swathes of enemy infantry, massive monsters, and heavy battle tanks.
The chassis can be fielded as a Freeblade for Imperial forces, including Space Marines, Astra Militarum, Adepta Sororitas, Adeptus Custodes, Adeptus Mechanicus, or Imperial Agents armies. Alternatively, it can be built as a Dreadblade for the forces of Chaos, including Chaos Space Marines, Death Guard, Emperor’s Children, Thousand Sons, or World Eaters.
This single kit provides the components to build the following loyalist variants, based around the same core chassis:
Knight Defender: Armed with the unique conversion beam obliterator, plasma executor, twin incendine combustor, and phosphor blaster.
Knight Paladin: Armed with the iconic rapid-fire battle cannon and reaper chainsword (or thunderstrike gauntlet).
Knight Errant: Armed with the powerful thermal cannon and reaper chainsword (or thunderstrike gauntlet).
Knight Gallant: A dedicated melee brawler armed with the thunderstrike gauntlet and reaper chainsword.
Knight Warden: Armed with the high-volume avenger gatling cannon and reaper chainsword (or thunderstrike gauntlet).
Knight Crusader: A long-range fire platform armed with the avenger gatling cannon, thermal cannon, and heavy flamer.
The kit also includes options to build the Chaos Knight Despoiler, which can be armed with twin warpstrike claws or twin daemonbreath thermal cannons, despoiler gatling cannons, or despoiler battle cannons, plus numerous optional heavy stubbers and meltaguns. Loyalists (Paladin, Errant, Gallant, Warden, and Crusader) can also add an optional ironstorm missile pod, stormspear rocket pod, or twin Icarus autocannon.
